Will we find love again under KF at Iowa?

Kudos to the Iowa coaching staff with the work during the current recruiting season. Clearly, the staff is transitioning to the new landscape.

Iowa isn't OSU, MSU or Michigan, but occasionally Iowa beats Michigan for a recruit (Mike Wells was one under Hayden) and a certain RB/athlete out of Indy may be the most recent?

The Hawkeyes have had a lean past 5 years. Hayden Fry went through a down period during a similar period as head coach. He went two straight years without bowling ...

Kirk Ferentz needs to put a foot in the behind of his offensive staff. His defensive staff needs to get on the stick as well. Special teams better find ways to improve, but they tweaked the roster right for 2015.

Iowa may be a team to watch in the B1G West. They aren't loved like Wisconsin, Nebraska and to a lesser extent Minnesota.

Iowa hasn't done much in four years of division play. Wisconsin has succeeded. But, they are now on third coach.

Head to head, KF is 1-0 vs. the new head man in Madison. Last time Iowa traveled to Madison, the Hawkeyes won, the new HC was the OC at the time.

Iowa's OC is in Year 4. He hasn't looked good over the first three seasons, except for a couple of single road wins each year.

2012 - at MSU in OT
2013 - at Nebraska
2014 - at Pitt

The Hawkeyes have to step up in 2015. Why not now?

The rest of the B1G West isn't impressive to say Iowa cannot from a coaching, talent, roster and schedule standpoint.

We don't play the best of the East, so 2015 is clearly opportunity knocks ...

Let's find some Love in 2015!

peace
