William Hill sets O/U for Astros batters getting beaned

LOL

Toss a Single-A or Double-A pitcher onto your roster, and have him start off the game beaning 'Stros batters. Get the whole league in on it.

When he gets ejected, send him back down with a bag-ful of cash the rest of the team throws together for him.

I like it.

84 straight games would be worth it!

Until MLB Commissioner Manfred takes
away the World Series Title and Trophies
from the 2017 Astros........then you will
have this chaos when their hitters step
into the batter's box this season.

83 would be the third highest total from last year. The average was an awesome 69.

I like the under. It will get too much publicity and the hammer will come down.

The high strike never gets called anyway.

I get what you're sayin'! I always thought MLB players should be better hitters because in effect, their strike zone is from their belly button to their ankles. And ( I was a left-handed hitter)....that is the sweet zone for solid contact. It only gets a little nasty when the pitches start coming inside and low....

Bean them hard and often. I will never tire of it. Mike Trout said it best: "Me going up to the plate knowing what was coming -- it would be pretty fun up there."

As Spring Training opens in Florida
and Arizona there is mounting pressure
on MLB Commissioner to remove the
Astros World Series Title from 2017.

There is also a push to suspend the
players who were involved in this
cheating scandal. Other MLB players
are starting speak up....Mike Trout,
Kris Bryant and others thinks there should
be some more punishment.

Bottom Line: Manfred is getting some backlash
for his chicken-hearted approach to this scandal.

Pitchers across baseball may be checking their calendars to see when they’ll have an opportunity to get retribution against the Astros for cheating, but Rob Manfred is trying to get out in front of the issue.

The MLB commissioner said in a sit-down with ESPN that he will be sending a memo this week warning teams about throwing at Astros hitters, noting that punishment would be more severe.

Manfred is so delusional that he should
quit his job. He keeps making mistakes
and then holding a press conference to
apologize for his mistakes.

Manfred is going to have a player rebellion
on his hands if he does not remove the
Astros 2017 World Series Title.

He went soft on the Astros and now wants to be severe? How about every time someone beans an Astro, they get punishment but a cheating Astro also gets the same punishment?

Somewhere Bill Belichick is chuckling softly to himself as he reviews film for next year's game with Cincinnati.

"Damned cheaters," he says.

Astros that cheated deserve to be plunked every at bat. They should know that just like they knew what the pitch was every ball, every at bat.

83 1/2 by All-Star Break more like it.

BTW, Rizzo and Bryant have been hit 79 times over the past two seasons.
