Iowa and Wisconsin both have favorable out of division schedules, based on history if Wisconsin wins I would guess they'd win the West, if Iowa wins, they surely have a good chance but I wouldn't predict it.

These were the two heavyweights in a slugfest, I don't see any other team in the west beating either team, this went a long way toward the west title. And, we've seen MSU and OSU look vulnerable. I think after today the sights are set a little higher than just winning the west.

Every game is important now. We can't have any letdown games. Win the ones we should win.

This win obviously helps the Hawks tremendously in the west.
The way nw is looking, though, I'd have to give them the nod at this point.

I said before the game that the winner of this game should have a better shot winning the west. Iowa NEEDED this win IMO just because a loss to NW is possible. Playing at NW will be a very tough game. I see it being a lot like this game- defenses will be a major factor and a low scoring game. NW and Iowa seem to have similar offenses. Both aren't great offenses but are pretty balanced. We definitely need to take it one game at a time but Indiana and NW are the only two games that will be tough. Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, and Purdue SHOULD all be wins if we just play our game. Gophers offense shouldn't do much against our defense. With that said, I'm just happy to get the win against Wisconsin and keep our B1G West chances alive. Hopefully the fun season continues!
