Wirfs is really cool

I took my son over to Davenport Assumption for the Rally for Reid fundraiser event. It was a great event. Several former Hawks were there volunteering. All of them were cool, but given Wirfs’ success, I have to say he was awesome. Super friendly in the autograph line and he happily took photos with everyone that asked. He’s an impressive dude.

A great ambassador for Iowa Football. I'm telling you...it would have been interesting to see how far Tampa would have gone without Tristan getting hurt last year. That was a huge factor in them being ousted...he's that important to that team.

I was there with my 2 grandsons yesteday and was there last year as well. Tristan was great and was last year as well. In fact, all of the former Hawks were great with the kids. I was particularly impressed by Dane Belton and how he engaged with the kids. Congrats to Jake Gervase and the foundation on a great event!
