197- A- activity level was way up. He was skating in the 3rd, even before the td, which is the slight deduction in grade
285- P he is probably getting rewarded for a great attitude and good effort in practice. I actually like the call to sit Holloway
125- B+ Lantz put Gilman knee in some positions that I'd rather not see. The grade deduction isn't really from not getting the tech it's the fact that he didn't know what to do in the Russian. How many times have you gone with CC and you don't know how to score against the Russian tie? Minutes 2-4 was a way slow pace
133- B was that CC out there with that bar? Obviously not due to the lack of PD calls. Laux got worked on top and couldn't finish a shot. He's lucky he got that reversal otherwise he might not have won
141- A-/A I'm glad Christopher showed up and not topher. Carton is so tough on top and he's strong. I think Christopher is an AA. He just has to show up every time
149- B- Sorensen didn't look himself after that throw. Idk if he got a stinger on that throw or if he just didn't wanna put himself in any position after. Was glad to see him trying some different rides at the end of the 1st
157- A way to catch him
165- B with the offensive juggerNOT that is zeke Jordan I'm not surprised this went to OT. Gunther was never close to scoring but Zeke should been hit with stalling. He was backing out a lot of the match
174- A- beat an overmatched opponent. Woulda liked some more offense but I'll take the major

Crone also gave BS a really tough match last year. Something about him gives BS problems, but not to the point where he is ever in jeopardy of losing.

I like the way Terry Giardini(sp?) slowly turns his head so that everyone knows he has seen the fall and whatever happens after that doesn't matter. Then he slaps the mat. That way fans don't try to time the slap with the fall. I saw him refing at the midlands again this year. I think he was the 2nd ref in the Kemmerer final??? (I'm sure some one will look it up and tell me I'm wrong)

curious why you like it? i dont agree with sitting him out for no real reason, if there is some strategical reason to hold him out then i may change mind about it.

Brands pretty much said what I was thinking. Whoever Iowa put out there was getting teched or pinned. Holloway just got a lot of confidence from the tOSU match. No reason to have him lose that. Also it's good for him to see mistakes being made from the bench because he would be making the same ones.
