Wisconsin @ Indiana Game Thread: Indiana 17, #9 Wisconsin 45

I would not be surprised if Indiana won this game. Indiana has been a pretty decent to good team this year.

Like we've said all year, Wisconsin isn't THAT good. Let's go Indiana! Then we can make it 2 losses in a row for Wisconsin!

Still early, but a Becky loss and a Hawkeye W! Come on Indy.

Just gave up a deep pass on 3rd and 9

Helping Wisconsin there. How do you call the play dead, then go back and say that it wasn't dead and award Wisconsin the ball? WOW

If Brian Ferentz was in the booth for that one, I'd hope he'd go break down the efffing door over that call. If whistles blow, guys stop....right? But award the ball to the team that doesn't stop on the whistle?

i missed it; what was the explanation on why the call was reversed?

I think the ball may have been coming out.... So fumble was probably the right call. But my point is that the whistles are blown and emphatically blown over and over when the ball comes out...and once on the ground.

I just don't like saying a play and a clear recovery occurred, when the play was blown dead.

exact same situation as last week vs Iowa, the replay ref taking more upon himself.

but hey they have to make sure that the last team in the BT stays unbeaten.

I think this one was worse, with the way the refs continued to blow their whitles and the amount of time it takes to recover the ball. I may not understand correctly, but I thought the reason that refs will NOT call plays dead, is because it can't be reviewed once called dead...

the one with Butler one ref was waving his arms signaling the play dead, that is why BF lost his cool. the interception where the ball clearly made contact with the field should have been called incomplete vs a interception. were both bogus calls against Iowa.

Cephus their best receiver left on crutches, and Orr left early and did not return.

Tom Allen needs to be a little more animated on the sideline. Talk about stoic...

Throwing the ball late in the 4th Qtr going for style points is not going to make a difference for them.
