Heaven, Iowa
We won't come off this high until late Friday night.

Wisky will be motivated to win big to improve their CFP hopes.

The game is at Wisky; we will crumble under the pressure.

The Iowa players will participate in the Jump Around to not celebrate getting crushed by Wisconsin but to celebrate beating Ohio State. Yes, beating Ohio State is that big of a deal.

Oh well. Hopefully we recover and can squeak by Purdue!

Agree? :p

Reverse mojo?

Iowa certainly got the Badgers attention and it's their biggest game of the year to date.

Can Iowa play mistake free football on the road? We'll see - I just hope the offensive play calls are as aggressive as last week. Play to win, not 'not to lose'.

I predicted Iowa would beat either O$U or Wisconsin after NW loss. I will change my prediction, Iowa will beat Wisconsin.

The NW loss is huge and they will probably win out. How does a one division loss Iowa, NW and Wisconsin pan out for the championship if each team has a loss to one of the teams first in the division?

Wisconsin will rush for 400 on this defense. Our only glimmer of hope for one last win is home vs Purdue.
The fluke win over OSU was fun though.

The cross-over Big 10 games count in the standings. Iowa has 3 conference losses, Wisconsin 0 and Iowa 3. Wisconsin could lose to Iowa and to Michigan the following week and still win the West if it beats Minnesota. Badgers beat Northwestern already so they win a tie with Wildcats.

I do not know the tiebreakers if Iowa, Wisconsin and Northwestern were all to finish 6-3 in the league. In that scenario, each team would be 1-1 against the other 2 teams.

I know some folks are working on the reverse mojo .... but there is a distinct difference between Ohio State's D and Wisconsin's D. Wisconsin's D is totally legit ... and they're an attacking group. They're very capable of talking away our running game ... and also harassing Stanley.

In all honestly, I do expect a complete slug-fest ... but sadly, I do NOT see a repeat of the Ohio State game when we face Wisconsin.

Josey Jewell is a slow, 2* athlete who only gets tackles because the DL channels the ball carrier right at him.
Plus, he couldn’t tackle Saquon Barkley in a phone booth.

He was a 0 star until he committed to Iowa, correct? I think the 2 star was a gift from Rivals. Agree? ;)

Figured it out this morning...Iowa to Indy in this case, NW dropped with poor divisional record, then Iowa over Wisconsin given head to head. Real long shot, but it is there.

We are still talking about two Top 15 rush defenses in all.of.college football. (well top 17 now after Saturdays game) what offensive rushing juggernaut has Wiscy faced that proves how good their defense is?

Well put Palidin.

And to add to that, Wiskconsin's O is also a different beast. They are going to challenge the front-7 through 4 quarters with their rush game unlike osu who didn't really pound it on the ground very much.

Nice try but I don't think Hornibrook is buying.:D

It ain’t happening. Whisky isn’t going to lose out. As I said before, Iowa sealed their fate with that abysmal loss to NW.

We'll be Wisconsin's first true test. After checking their schedule, it's no wonder they're perfect so far. I really hope we go into Madison and hit them in jaw with a three score victory.

I don't understand the folks that are predicting a hard fought loss to the badgers. You are not "true" Hawk fans. We're gonna get throttled.

It's amazing how some people get this thread and some people don't. Hint: Iowa shouldn't even get off the bus, Josh Jackson can't guard a middle schooler.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think the crossover games count towards division title.

I've seen Dinardo float the idea on the BTN. I think it's definitely interesting as it doesn't create such a huge disparity on the quality of the crossover games. Wisconsin's cross overs this year are Maryland, Indiana and Michigan. Quite a difference from Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan State, the 3 best teams in the East. Iowa benefited from the 2015 crossovers of Maryland and Indiana (just 8 conference games that year), but even at that Iowa went undefeated against other West opponents.

It would certainly add a different dynamic as this weekend would take on even more importance.

Paul Chryst is one of the most charismatic, virile, handsome and magnetic coaching personalities ever to coach this lame ass sport. He makes Hayden Fry and Johnny Orr sound like the grim reaper.

Wisconsin is gonna roll us on their way to the playoffs and most likely a NC! The OSU win was fun, but it’s back to reality this Saturday.:(

We probably should just go ahead and pen a letter of forfeiture so it can be publicly posted on the gates at Camp Randall 24 hours before kickoff as required by territorial law.
