For violating rules and getting away with it.
As a disclaimer, I actually root for the Badgers if they aren't playing the Hawks. But their offensive line gets away with holding more than any team I have ever seen. There was a play last night where Taylor has a long run. One of the linemen whiffed on his second-level block and turned around and grabbed a LBr's jersey. Pulled the guy down-he just disappeared. It was impossible to miss but no one in a striped shirt saw it.

I think every OL in CFB holds plenty. If you visit an opponent's message board after they lose to Iowa, you can bet there will be at least one complaint about our OL holding.

Yeah but other teams do it more frequently and more egregiously..........they just don't get called for them because ref reasons.......

Packers do it to and get away with it, its damn frustrating and we have talked about it on here b4.

I've long said Iowa's O-line should study Wisconsin and do what they do...hold without getting penalized.

Difference is our OL is set up to be athletic enough and flexible to move with defenders. Hand position is about the most important thing our coaches stress.

Wisconsin’s OL is built for power, to drive a wedge. But if a DL gets to the edge of the block then their OL are much more likely to hold.

Stopped readying after you said you root for Wisconsin - that is disgusting

Sports Illustrated had the Wisconsin O-line on their cover with a huge write up. They made it sound like themat line was the best in the country.
