I have noticed that in other home games for them. Interesting. I also noted it did fill in a bit more.
They have a ridiculous system getting students in. Bottle neck. It takes until halftime to get them in
This is bau for Wisconsin students. Along with what EE said, they tend to prefer casually showing up as opposed to being on time or early....
I was at the game and made a comment about the poor showing and my buddy from Wisconsin explained that they do in fact have a terrible entrance system. It wasn't full until halftime.
Camp Randall is a hard Stadium to get around, so they need to fix this so students can get in. Iowa was lucky the Wisconsin students are so apathetic toward the football team. They get excited when they play their favorite songs and jump around. Iowa played most of the 4th quarter within the 20 yard line in front of the students, but the students made hardly any noise and allowed Iowa to not get any delay penalties or disrupt the QB signals. At Iowa, the students would have drowned out the opponent in such a close game. Wisconsin fans were very critical of Stave, but his performance was hurt by many dropped passes in key situations. One thing outstanding about Wisconsin students is their dance squad and cheerleaders.
