Rooting for NW but hope you are right. I have adjusted to being content with NIT this year. That being said, if two number one seeds were to be knocked off by Big Ten I would again start questioning a winning Big Ten record not getting us in.

Northwestern got screwed. Period. The officials in the Wisconsin game tried to hand the game to Villanova. The refs in the NW game got it done for Gonzaga. WOW. Two of the worst officiated NCAA games I've seen in decades...both, shockingly, biased against the BIG. Of course, we all know it's tough for three officials to see a 6-10 guy stick his entire arm inside the net, grab the rim with his hand from the inside, and pull it out while hacking the shooter. I mean, hell, there are only three officials out there and the ball was, what, an inch or two away from all the action. BS.

The dirty side of rooting for Big Ten teams in the NCAA Tournament.

We still get some degenerate muckrakers who have nothing better to do, when they SHOULD be celebrating, than to come on here and prance around like show ponies.

It's really a backhanded compliment, that we mean so much to them that they are hanging out on here.

I do believe most of the visiting turd slingers, local complainers, and other such nonsense spouts, are getting their digs in while they can, knowing the end of that parade is coming soon.

As for reloading saw same thing into today's game as saw in Iowa and most other Wisconsin games. Starters of 4 seniors and happ doing most of the work. Besides happ I'm not really sure who has looked that impressive that isn't a senior this year. Trice is decent I suppose. I'll put Gard in same boat as prohm at isu both inherited great class of juniors be interesting to see how they do in year 3 when all the great upperclassmen they inherited are gone and working with mainly their own guys.
