Who do we want here? I'm hoping for a Wiscy W, Sparty getting buried the next 2 games after and Wiscy prime to go down at home to Iowa on Thursday!

Probably Wisconsin just in case we beat them. Need them as high ranked as possible.

Oh yeah I'm 100% with you on the both losing part LOL. I want Sparty to tank and miss the tourney, sick of that whiny little Leprechaun. Wish we could play them again. Wiscy is so beatable, we need to play tough, physical defense and Iowa can take them. Wiscy sucks on offense.
Wisconsin looks like a bad matchup for us. Happ is even better than I remember and they are running everything through Happ and Hayes. Happ also seems to have the best understanding of positional defense I've seen. Deters drives off pick and roll while using angles to make entry passes risky.
Michigan State is really coming on, too. McQuaid seems to be putting it together, and Ward is a beast. Seems like foul trouble and depth will be Sparty's main challenge.
This really seems like a wide open BTT. I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the following win it: Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, Minny, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern. Even Iowa is playing well and seems fresh.

As much as I hate to say it, go badgers. It will be that much sweeter when we beat them later this week.
I'm watching this game thinking we can win Thursday. As long as TC plays with the chip he has since IU we can take them. He matches up well with Happ.
Also, the thing that is driving me crazy is that the top teams would be helping us by beating teams that are ahead of/close to us in the standings.

If Iowa were to have 3pt shooting night they had vs Maryland we would win at Kohl. However with the refs probably calling 3:1 fouls on our Bigs vs Wisky bigs, the home cooking whistle will be hard to overcome.
Well ya we win by 20 if we shoot like we did vs MD. If the refs call Wiscy mug defense we still should win. They are not good.
Watching game today refs just let post players drop shoulder and heads and bully way to the hoop. Hopefully don't let Hayes and happ do that Thursday. As for Wisconsin under bo ryan they just always reloaded. But outside of happ and losing 4 seniors maybe, hopefully we see them take a drop next year. Cause didn't see much outside those 5 who really has impressed me this year for the badgers. Younger brother of trice looks decent but rest of bench been suspect. I know Gard is a Bo ryan guy but have seen many times where the under study just can't replicate the level of success previous coach had.
Hawks have a punchers chance at mad town this week. Looking forward to watching the game. Hopefully the team will be focused and loose looking to add to their resume.
No question the Hawks could win but I agree with the poster above.....Wisconsin is a very tough or bad matchup for us. As good as Cook has played the inside guys for Wisconsin are very crafty veterans.
There was nothing"crafty" about their games last night. There are some problems on that squad and they're ripe for the picking.
Believe me I hope you are right.....I think Wisconsin is in the same place mentally that Maryland was but, they have a much more experienced lineup.
Wisconsin has lost its mojo. I'm afraid that they'll discover it again when we play them this week, but I wouldn't bet on them making a deep tournament run. Koenig, Brown and especially Hayes have been slumping off and on for weeks, partly due to injuries, but they just haven't been playing well as a team.
It's not Senior day for Wisconsin. They play Minnesota after us at the Kohl Center.
That's a HUGE break that I didn't expect. Thanks for pointing it out srams. Probably a bit rare that we aren't visiting for anyone's senior night.
wisky is having issues. And they are not a top 20 team of late. But to say that Iowa is "head and shoulders more talented than them" is nonsense.
I'll stand by it. They are a well oiled machine, no one is greater than sum of all parts.
I'm not HAPP y the Hawks are playing @ Wisky after they got beat down @ Sparty.

Wisky is struggling but they always seem to find their magic at home. They are a senior dominated team and they will figure it out.
I liked that Iowa played well at Maryland, but with a young team its hard to get them to keep the consistency in play. Its usually highs and then lows. So I would not be surprised if we struggle shooting the ball Thursday night. I am just hoping we play inside and can somehow over come our poor shooting.
