I think Purdue and Wisconsin will end up tying for the regular season title with Maryland a game out.

Purdue beat Wisky at home (66-55) and they beat Maryland at their place (73-72).so they would get the #1 seed in the BTT with Wisky #2 and Maryland #3. Should make for some excitiing games on the Saturday of the BTT.

Remaining schedules for the 3 teams:

Wisconsin
vs Maryland (only time they played)
at OSU
at MSU
vs Iowa
vs Minny

Maryland
at Wisky (only time they played)
vs Minny
vs Iowa
at Rutgers
vs MSU

Purdue
vs MSU
at PSU
at Michigan
vs IU
at Northwestern

I thought at the beginning of the season that Purdue was the best team and nothing has changed my mind.
Purdue has already beaten both Wisky and Maryland, but Maryland has the easier remaining schedule.
With the unbalanced schedules in the Big, I don't think the regular season champion is legit unless every
team plays each other.
I would love for Iowa to beat Wisky and knock them out of a contention. I would rather watch paint dry then
watch Wisconsin basketball.

As a Purdue fan, I'm cheering for Wisconsin to beat Maryland. I don't see Maryland losing any of their last 4. Don't think Purdue can win out either. I could see Wisconsin losing at MSU.

I'm seeing a 3-way tie at 14-4.
Wisconsin drops game at MSU.
Purdue drops game at Michigan.
Maryland drops game at Wisconsin.

What's MSU's remaining schedule? Geesh. Can they make the NCAA if they lose all three to the top teams? Actually, would be something if they won out and finished in first place tie at 13-5 after being 4-4.

Just as a fan I hope it's Purdue....I despise Wisconsin and still think of Maryland as a newcomer so I don't want them to win it either.

MD fan here, but gimme Purdue as my pick to win the conference.

First off, they're probably the best team and the conference's best chance to make a deep run in March, but the tie breaker is also in their favor. Their schedule isn't all that difficult either. If they beat MSU today then who is going to beat them? Maybe NW at NW, but the conference will probably already be wrapped up if they win out til then. Think MD and Wisconsin lose at least one more each.

Having MSU at home helps but the games at Michigan (if they hit their 3's, look out) and N'western (which Wildcat team shows up?) could be interesting

at Penn State and home vs IU should be wins, but u never know
