Trump is going to be cringe worthy good next Tuesday. I'll be interested to see how he responds without people cheering his every word like at his rallies.

Also, not undecided.

I cant believe there are any...anywhere
Marxism, Socialism, Critical Race Theory, Green New Deal, Defund Police, Abolish Ice, Sanctuary Cities, Doxing, Shaming, Men sharing bathrooms with little girls.
You guys are sick and easy to vote against.

Jobs, Famlies, Secure Borders, Freedom of thought....easy to vote for.

If you truly believed in freedom of thought you would not be blindly regurgitating laughable right wing talking points...you would be thinking critically.

There are things we can challenge about most of your points, but let’s just take your first: if Biden is such a Marxist why are so many prominent Republicans planning to vote for him?

I think it’s more about getting more people who would not otherwise vote , vote for your side. I’m probably voting for Joe Biden but it turns me off when he panders to left wing causes 24/7 which is exactly what turns me off of Trump — his pandering to right wing causes 24-7 and also being a general d-bag.

When a candidate panders to their party’s causes on every turn and every issue - it says to me they have no genuine plans , no original thought of their own.

This debate will be fun. For months now, Trump has tried to paint Biden as old and senile so the bar for Biden doing well has been lowered. In the last couple of weeks Trump’s people have realized this and now they’re trying to talk about how much experience Biben has had debating....lol

I think Biden has much much more to gain with a solid debate performance. We know Trump will attack Biden , but I’m not sure if that’s the route Biden should take in a debate format. It shall be interesting.

When two parties both have causes that turn off voters when supported by the top of their respective parties, it tells me something.

How’s that?
What isn’t a leftist position that you wouldn’t argue against?
Parsing your twisted English yields:“what non-leftist positions do you support?“.

Is that what you meant to ask in a convoluted double negative way?

For this Biden voter that is a long list, it includes:
  • Free markets
  • Fiscal conservatism
  • Limited, but effective government regulation
  • Belief in family and local communities as a stabilizing and important force in society (although my definition of family is very liberal)
  • Freedom of religion, but also freedom from religion. Believe what you want, but keep it out of government

Yes, still undecided about voting the presidential ticket at all...

I think it would be great if Biden went out there with an air horn and blew it every time Trump told a lie. Or more simply just said, "Lie!" every time Trump lied and then told us why it's a lie.

Unplug the imaginary radio in your brain. It’s making you very sick.

The pressure is on Joe Biden for this debate. There's nothing Trump could say or do (outside of maybe pulling his penis out on the debate stage) that would be worse or dumber than anything he's already done or said. Even so, I doubt anything in the debate will fundamentally shake up the race.

Biden has two things at play here: (1) Trump and his supporters have branded Biden as a fool with dementia; (2) Biden needs to come across as presidential.

Part of the reason Trump has been saying that Biden is going to inject performance drugs before the debate is his team has realized Trump set the bar too low with all of the remarks about Biden's mental coherence. It won't take much for Biden to come across as mentally acute.

The other important thing Biden must achieve is coming across as presidential and drawing a sharp contrast with Donald Trump. In 1980, the debates are what made Ronald Reagan president, not so much for the "there you go again line" and "are you better of now than you were four years ago line" but because it made Reagan look presidential and as a credible alternative to Carter. The general thought about Reagan prior to this was that he was an extremist and a whack job that should not be given the keys to the presidency. The debates with Carter fixed that issue. Biden has the opportunity for voters to compare him and Trump side by side and develop the thought that Biden is who they want as president.

I tend to think Trump will do better in these debates than people think, not because he is a particularly good debater, but because he is shameless liar who believes his own lies. I'm not sure Biden will bring the hammer down on Trump enough on the lying, which allows many of the lies to go unchallenged.

Just kind of wondering if undecided voters are still out there?
1/2 undecided. Not voting for Trump. Looking to see if Biden can motivate me to get off my lazy a$$ to go vote for him. Still haven't heard what his "handlers" views are on policy.

Don't underestimate his ability to over-complicate a simple...er um, tremendously awesome message.

Its like you held your voice text up to a Rush segment. Nice effort.

Chris Wallace is going to be the moderator.

I expect lots of "real time fact checking".

Not saying I'm the amazing Kreskin but I predict the liberals here will claim a huge Biden victory and the cons will claim Trump won the debate in a landslide.

Trumps side: Family Separation, Civil Unrest, Bankrupting the country, Neo-Nazism, Alt right groups emboldened, Xenophobia, Racism, Pollution and Destruction of the Planet, COVID parties, KKK,

Biden: Moderate, Speaks against looters and rioters, Promotes Unity, Eco-friendly, Pro healthcare, Pro jobs

You guys make it so easy.

See how that works? The only difference is when comparing the two candidates one is hyperbolic and the other is pretty spot on.

I don’t correlate trump with family. Quite the opposite.
