WNBA Salary Cap

For 2024, the WNBA hard salary cap is 1.46 million with highest paid at ~$250k.

The television contract is ~60 million per year.
Reports are a new contract of ~200 million per year is to be signed. (Some says is way undervalued)

If that happens, does the cap double next year? At the same time, rules prevent renegotiation of contracts so CC 75pennies will remain chump change.

Will it help/hurt the fever if they have $2million in cap space but Aces/NY also get another million.

Could be a CRAZY offseason.

At this point, if I'm Caitlin, the next time my contract came up I would just take the minimum to try to get more better players. Even if it doubled, it would be chump change relative to her endorsement deals.
