First and foremost, hopefully it's sustainable. It's crazy how much the league is willing to let players be rough with Clark. She is figuratively the golden goose. She's 1 career ending injury away from sending the WNBA back into the dark ages. That’s cool, but as someone else mentioned, after watching CC/Fever play 40+ times and then probably 15/20 other games. The talent pool is already very thin in my humble opinion.
With that said, I think they’re a little arbitrary and even sketchy on who they truly give a chance to or not. Obviously, there was some weird stuff going on with CC’s entry into the league, but that in no way shape or form is the first time they’ve done something like this. I’m convinced they don’t go out of their way to help the European players become stars. And I also think there are some girls that have never gotten legitimate shots who could’ve been decent players.
It is a very cultish league in many regards!

Hopefully this gives at least the 2nd rounders a chance to make it in the league.
This going to be very interesting with the rejection of the CBA. For instance, Indy could offer KMitchell a 2 year core supermax, but she may reject a 2 year offer if the salary cap is raised.
Tempo, huh....................gonna need to workshop that a bit more if we're being completely honest with ourselves here, WNBA.
There are some really good and original team names in the W. "Tempo" is original ... but not so good.Tempo, huh....................gonna need to workshop that a bit more if we're being completely honest with ourselves here, WNBA.
