Wow. That was awesome. Hitting their first NINE threes and just totally destroying the poor little puppies of UW. Lucy finally looked as advertised, and everyone else fell into line. I hope this will put the Hawkeyes on track to pull a huge upset of USC on Feb. 2 when Caitlin's jersey is retired. I'd love nothing more than to see the Hawkeyes tag that team and its star with a giant L with 15,000 people urging Iowa on.
It's a shame the Hawkeyes hit the skids, but now that they've come through it and are on the other side, we can hope for a prolonged response. And after all, it's not how you do in the middle, it's how you finish. Beat USC!
