If we are counting the extra NCAA tournament games I bet it’s pretty close.

As a huge fan of both the men and women‘s programs, it appears the sole purpose of this thread is to crap on the mens program.
Sorry you feel that way - Not my intention......genuinely curious about the attendance numbers. I've been going to men's games since i was in HS and women's games for 20 years. Women's attendance used to average around 3k - just look up at the curtains the next time you're in Carver. Those were put in to 'force' the women's crowd closer to the court and make the stadium appear more full than it actually was....

They need to drop those curtains in the men's games behind both hoops. There is no student section ever and the opposite side is the last side selected for tickets.

I realize not the point of your post. There are a list of reasons why the men's attendance is not great, but i think the biggest reason is the tv schedule. The 8pm weeknight tips and Sunday late afternoon all the damn time. The one big ten Saturday game they had Carver was full.

If we win today, the women might follow the wrestling team and sell out the season with season tickets.

Demand for Caitlin's senior year is going to be off the charts.
