So the rowing team is going to have a meet/whatever-you-call-a-rowing-competition on Lake McBride on Saturday. Using the north arm of the lake (which is the best fishing at this time of year) and the event traffic will render it unusable for any boat under power. Why? I thought we had a multi-million dollar rowing facility on the Iowa River? I'm told that they don't have enough space to conduct the event on the River? WTF? So, you build your facility on a body of water that you can't use? Who was the brain surgeon behind that decision?
