Men need to sue too. Simple as that. Sue.What do these mens programs have to do to get the admin to reinstate?
All three mens programs are having Great seasons, Tennis, Gymnastics, and swimming.
While I am glad for the womens programs getting reinstated in one way it really hurts the mens program.
I think some mens programs have to file a suit on the basis of the original Title IX law was intended to increase womens participation NOT eliminate other mens opportunities, I swear I had read something to that affect in the original version.
Would like to see the women step up now and support their mens programs like the women T&F team did at William & Mary when they said they didn't want to be reinstated without the mens program also being reinstated.
Btw, W&M just announced this week that Mens swimming, gymnastics, and T&F are permanently being reinstated, so maybe there is still hope.
Coach Mundt and Coach Mona and the staff are doing a great job of rebuilding. It will take some time to fully realize it in the results as they are still well short of a full roster. Things are trending in the right direction though and won't be long until they are competitive night in and night out in the Big Ten....Iowa Women's Swim and Dive takes on Iowa State tonight. Has anyone been following the swim program since their reinstatement? I presume they've lost whatever program momentum they had a few years ago with recruits obviously being hesitant of the program's stability.
Regardless, hopefully Iowa can keep the current Cy-Hawk winning streak going against the Cyclones.
