I have had a few different types of insects while travelling abroad. My favorite were some crickets we had in Mexico...they tasted like popcorn. Even my girls who at the time were 12 and 10 (and very picky) didn't mind them.

Lobster is just an ocean insect. I'd be happy to eat lobster a few times a week instead of, say, pork.

This. I used to travel to China for work and have eaten some pretty crazy things. Eating bugs just isn't going to happen for me.
I wouldn't care for it, but I suppose I could if enough alcohol was involved. These nut jobs do it for fun.
