If he gets the million at 11 years old, he should take the million.

If he's able to use it to pay for college, a future home down payment, and invest that into an index and not touch it until he retires, that will be pretty nice for him.

But also this... the supply is manufactured. Why can't the Pirates offer the card maker that much to print off their own?

The tickets don’t even cost the team anything because that’s just two fewer empty seats at each game. If anything the the team will make more money because presumably he’ll buy some concessions while he’s at the games.
