We have had the same seats since '86. Right on the centerline. There are 4 old guys sit right behind us, and a couple with 2 young kids in front of us. Lots of fun during matches. We are in a section that has empty seats only when kids are wrestling in a tournament that night, and can't be there. Reminds me of the 70's, until I look across the arena at the blackout curtain.
Question for all of you: My dad and I have been getting tickets together for a while. Relay good seats mid mat opposite the bench side. In the past year we have placed my mom in a Alzheimer's care unit(in gopher land) and we may not renew this year and just buy from the street when we can go.
Do you think the World Cup will be a really tough ticket to get without having season tickets?
Any input will be appreciated.

I went to the university of Iowa ticket office site and found the spot for wrestling season tickets. The renewal part I could not find until I had gone through the new purchase portion. Be careful to cancel your new season ticket purchase or you will get more than you bargained for.

Didn't get notifications to renew either and ticket office insists that they sent it. I checked my spam and junk mail, nothing but a bunch of emails from women feeling lonely and wanting to host me? Idk

I did not receive a notification to renew either and was wondering the same thing. I'd say the ticket office dropped the ball. Seems like that department has lots of issues.
I'm getting antsy- waiting to place my order until they settle on the World Cup weekend. I'm out of town the 1st week of April, so want to know if I should include Cup tix in my package or not.

I sure hope so! Hawkeye ticket site still says it's either that weekend or the 1st weekend in April- TBD by Sept 1st.
Yup -- just ordered mine tonight online. Wasn't a renewal though. Maybe I did the wrong thing.
If you are looking to renew your tickets:
1. Go to www.hawkeyesports.com, under Tickets/I-Club select Buy Tickets Online.
2. Don't click on Iowa Wrestling Tickets, you want to log into your account (upper right).
3. (Upper right again) click on Manage My Account.
4. Select Online Applications from My Tickets section on the right column.
5. The renewal application should be titled "2017-18 Wrestling Season - New Application" - click on it and you should confirm the seats you had last year. You can add World Cup tickets to your order by clicking the link under Additional Items.
I didn't receive notification and was concerned. Followed this and it worked. Also can call 1-800-IAHAWKS and speak to someone. A big year or two ahead of this team as they build for a title. Time to fill CHA now more than ever! Go Hawks!
Long time season ticket holders & no notification for us either. Called the ticket office & they said renewal forms had been sent out days ago. Told them I never received it. Did it online & added World Cup tickets! Go Hawks!
Thanks for all of this. For some reason I need to (re?)activate my season ticket account. Perhaps something happened from a computer system perspective on the Iowa side.
This glitch is unfortunate. Hopefully the ordering process gets ironed out soon.
Considering the growing momentum behind the HWC and the Hawks, I fully expect a substantial bump in attendance this season. Perfect opportunity for Hawk fans to make a statement and help propel the Hawks back to the top!

It does appear to be fixed. I received an email on the 28th with a printable copy of my renewal form including the correct location of my seats, and that location is now on the website as well so they can be renewed online.
Ok so I'm nervous what is the deadline for renewing seasons....I'm old usually use the mail order form
