Anyone with a good memory know who wrote a Des Moines based column titled "4th & inches." Sort of around 2000, I'd guess. In addition to football, he threw in a few very conservative political jabs, so could it be SD? Don't know why no name on this column. Curious, I am.

Sean Keeler(sp), almost forgot about him. But no, this seems to be some paper other than the Register, probably a weekly or bi-weekly. This guy takes jabs at certain Democrats, KF, McCarney, the Round Guy (DM comedian), B. Gumbel, Kornheiser, but not Fry. Which is why I wondered about S. Deace, though not sure what he was doing around 2000. But thanks for replaying.
