Xavier Nwankpa breaks down his final 7 schools

Nwankpa and Proctor can be big time stars as Hawkeyes, one of the top 14 brands in college football according to the revenue rankings published in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today, discussed in other threads. Those rankings show the new reality in CFB - the B10 and SEC will dominate, and the b12 and other conferences just haven’t kept up and the gap will grow.

As Hawkeyes they can have big followings with NIL, not just one of 100 “big stars” at a place like Alabama or OSU or Clemson.

stars get made when stars get to PLAY right away, preferably all four years, and they will do that at Iowa, or at least until they take their NFL-level coaching and training at Iowa, and join the 50 or 60 other Hawkeyes currently in the League.

How many programs can get two guys at the same position drafted in the first round? There are only so many snaps for TEs, but Iowa’s development and coaching got Fant and Hock to the top simultaneously.

No program in the country develops talent better than Iowa. Many articles written about it over the years.

Iowa is Offensive Line U
Iowa is Defensive Back U
You are joking, right?
How about two guys at the same position in the top 9 of the same NFL draft? (Nelson & McGlinchey).
How about three OL on the same NFL All Pro team? (Nelson, Stanley, Martin).
How about an entire 5 man OL of NFL Pro Bowlers? How about the most TE’s in the NFL by double?
How about all 5 DL from the same recruiting class now in the NFL? How about going 44-8 (11-2 average) over the past 4 years with two CFP’s, with a recruiting class ranking outside the top 10 for developing talent?
ND is OL & TE U and it’s not really even close.

Wow that’s a whole lotta, well, stuff right there.
How flattering to have a ND fan spew his flack here. You make all of your fans look as annoying as you say.

go tell that corporate-fascist ND law professor and crazy handmaiden cult member who trumped her way onto the Supreme Court to sing your football praises with you in your church, but don’t do it here.

Ferentz is an OL guru, coached super bowl champ OLs.

And Iowa TEs lead the league.

But I was also talking about DBs. Didn’t think Xavier played TE.

Iowa takes good DB talent and makes them great, and great DB talent and makes them stars.

Ask DB Riley Moss, national defensive player of the week.

This is a joke, right? Despite having recruiting classes ranked annually in the top 15, ND has one more player on an NFL roster. Remind me which top TE's I missed in my fantasy draft from ND this year?

I wonder how he would feel about playing special teams as a freshman and learning SS and/or Cash behind Merriweather and Belton, then starting for two years before going in the 2025 draft after his junior year.
If he’s good enough he’ll play. Otherwise, if his ego is too big to understand the need to learn the nuances of the position under one of the better DB coaches in the country and ultimately become a sure fire NFL player, then find somebody else

Iowa has just as many TEs as ND in the league, better ones as well.

? How about the most TE’s in the NFL by double?
Not accurate. Iowa and BD both have 4 TEs in the league. Two of Iowa’s TEs were all-pro. How many of ND’s TEs were all pro? I don’t recognize any of their names.

ND has one TE listed in PFF's top 32, Rudolph who is at the end of his career is listed at #20, his best days are behind him. Iowa's 3 TEs who are all still relatively new to the league are listed at #2, #7 and #11. Harvard has a better showing than ND in this list for heaven's sake.

Instead of bloviating on an Iowa Football message board, perhaps you should be looking inward and asking why your ND football program with it's vast resources and history is quickly becoming a program like Texas that achieves so little with so many resources at your disposal. Your ND team is quickly becoming the fake ID of college football this season.
