What a weekend! Big road win for Iowa as the defense pitches a 2nd half shutout while CJ leads the offense to 3 TDs and the Hawkeyes overcome a halftime deficit to bring the Cy-Hawk Trophy home. A big assist from #9. On to the contest results...........
Turned out to be a tough quiz this week - 33 entered but only 13 managed to answer a majority of the questions correctly. One contestant stood out way above all the others - this weeks winner is Hawk12345 who scored 9-1 to easily distance himself from the runner-ups and the rest of the field. Nice work.
3 contestants posted 7-3: SoonerBeAHawk, QChawks, and UIHawkGuy8. To settle the 2nd spot the Tie-Breaker Answer (310) was introduced and, by virtue of his closer guess, last week's winner QChawks (TB 368) takes the runner-up spot this week over UIHawkGuy8 (TB 400) and SoonerBeAHawk (TB 188).
Side-note: 3 Cyclone fans stepped-up and entered this contest but no one scored above .500 - which, by the way, is still a viable long-shot final W-L record for their football team. Seriously, though, I was impressed with the ISU offense and actually think the Clones will pull a couple upsets in the B12 this year. For the record, Psyclone won the cyclone side-bet over 14cy and Lone Clone for visitor bragging rights.
