Two workers who are installing a new furnace/ac and water heater today?

Thoughts? Bueller?

Buy them lunch. Then tip……

If there is anyone doing installation or anything at our house, I don't tip but I do always offer if they want water, Gatorade, etc.

How much did they charge you for install of a water heater?

450 for the install but that was wrapped into furnace/AC removal and install so don’t know if that’s a standalone price. That’s also after a rebate from the power company.

It’s their f%%%%% job. Their company pays them.
I had a guy who delivered my lost suitcase( trip to Europe) ask for a tip and I laughed in his face.

Got a new fridge a few years ago. It was tight and a lot of work for the 2 guys getting it in. They were careful with no damage to fridge or walls.

Felt good giving them each a $20 and they genuinely appreciated it.
This is where I usually fall. If everything is standard and as expected, I wouldn't tip. If they run into issues, or they take extra care to do/not do something, if they're working in the attic and it's especially hot or they're outside in the rain, then I might tip $20/person. If they just show up, remove the old stuff, install the new stuff, and they're done, then I likely won't tip.
