The big question is going to be...will hospitalizations skyrocket in a week or two like they did 3 months ago? If they do, we're screwed.

As we are all are. Hospitals in Texas, Arizona and Florida are starting to get bigly stressed.
To put some perspective on 50,302 cases in a day and the 306,526 cases last 7 days:

Agreed but I have noticed Iowa’s hospitalizations have jumped from 118 to 146 in two days. Something to keep an eye on for sure.

I was wondering the same. People keep talking about Florida and Texas but California seems to be escaping the ire.
I guess the question I have is what is the positive testing rate. CA is so freaking populated their 1,000 is like 75 for Iowa without doing the actual math.

It led me to wonder if they too opened too soon or if it's a behavioral thing in America.
Yesterday was over 50k in new cases and around 670 or so hospitalization. I can confirm that tomorrow with my daily updates.
Answering my own question looks like 5% which isn’t bad. It is just 5% of a big number is a relatively big number.
It's everywhere. Wife works in a Drs office and every patient has to be tested and negative before they come to their appointment. They have had a number of positives but nobody showing any symptoms.

Generally poorer...generally more densely populated areas. Recipe for disaster.
I brought this up a month ago with people fleeing inside to AC but was poo pooed by someone from AZ. Basically the inverse of flu season up north when we are all inside to flee the cold.
I noticed that as well. Yesterday’s hospital admissions was the highest in Iowa since May 29th.

The European Union, which encompasses about 440 M people, had 3500 new corona virus cases today.
I’m doing an estate for a gentleman who had a plethora of health issues and went into the hospital for kidney failure but died in the hospital like a day later. Covid was listed as the first cause of death. So it does happen. But that’s the only one I know of currently.
I can’t speak for everyone but I am branding you based off my opinion that you are a douchebag.
