Either way we will find out on Saturday. But, if you honestly think McSorley is a future first round draft pick, you're high on some crazy shit. Our defensive front is about to give him hell all day long. Easily the best defense you'll see all year. If you think Indiana gave you a tough outing, this is a whole new ball game son.
By the way, you do realize Trace McSorley was a sub par, 3 star prospect coming into PSU. Probably committed because he knew he could get some playing time in that sh*t-show of a program at the time.

The only consequence I am trying to avoid is hanging out in the locker room with the defensive coaches, I generally take my children with me to away games, however; my wife and I decided our children are not allowed within 50 miles of HV....we have a 500 foot rule for Priest's homes too, that tough because I am catholic.

McSorley is as close to an NFL 1st rounder as Jalen Hurd from Bama. That would be not close at all. Unless Nate Stanley improves his throwing accuracy by leaps and bounds, he has no shot at being an early round draft choice. The B10 has one sure fire early round QB and that is Haskins from Ohio St. He throws the ball on time and shows very good accuracy in tight windows.

Iowa is better in the trenches on both sides. Keystone of the best Iowa teams. Offence is good. D is better. On schedule.

McSorely (a RS senior) is not a first round draft pick, period. Some scouts say he isn't even an NFL QB. Doesn't have the accuracy and not even close to Mayfield or Mansell in athleticism.
Stanley is a true junior and just continued to improve. His % is up to 62%. He is the prototype NFL QB at 6-4 245 with a canon arm. He will come back for his Senior year and I'll almost guarantee he will be a first round pick in the 2020 draft.
And when an Ohio State QB makes it in the NFL let me know.

I tend to agree with your analysis, they've already slipped from last year. Next year they'll slip even more IMHO.....
Nate Stanley is currently 11th in the NCAA and 2nd in the B10 for Total QBR with an 80.1. Better than Locke (79.1), Browning (76.3), Jones (62.2), Thorston (55.2)--all of whom have been mentioned as 1st and/or 2nd round picks. BTW, McSorley checks in at a 63.1.
Side note, did Rutgers pick up Sitkowski at the local 7/11? He checks in at 13.8. Woof.
Haskins is the best throwing OSU QB that I have ever seen. He is quite different than his predecessors.
