Gatorade and similar drinks have a purpose. If their kids are in sports I would think I would want them able to get Gatorade or such.

They are allowed, just not with other people's money.

One would have to be pretty naïve, or at least willfully biased to think it only applies to one party or the other.

I didn't say that.

One party, however, seems to hold its own to account - NO Democrats are rallying around Menendez, nor did they ever around Blagojevich.

I cannot recall the last time the GOP has held ANY of their own to account. Not even someone as bad as Gaetz.

A lot of top level endurance athletes make their own with water, sugar, salt.

I would at least limit them to the low calorie options.
