Total Income Tax Base: ~20T a year
Total US imports we can put tariffs on: $3T/year

We'll put tariffs on imports that will raise a pittance, at the same time depressing manufacturing/business which will subsequently reduce income tax receipts (even w/o a tax cut)

When do you plan on letting us know where you’ve been for so long
Didn't know you needed so much insight on my whereabouts.

I had a very busy Jan (and on into Spring)

One of the bigger issues I'm dealing with is a management company that "bought out" the family owned one I dealt with.
New group proceeded to not pay 2 months worth of bills when they did their internal "transition" ( late 2023). Then, their "fixes" through 2024 cluster****ed up finances six-ways to Sunday. I saw a $12k "makeup" payment, followed by their accounting making that same payment (as though it was the new monthly required) 3 weeks later, only to have to retract that as an ACH reversal in another 3 weeks. I spent a lot of my spare time digging through online financials, finding GL entries, retractions, etc. All over the map. One ACH payment that I know was received (I have the ledgers from the receiving entity) doesn't show up anywhere in their finances (so they don't realize they actually paid it). Current EOY 2024 financials are a disaster.

As of this month (1.5 yrs later), still not fixed, and I'll be talking with some of their VPs shortly (the new mgmt entity operates in 17 states, and I may end up sending out warning letters to 17 AGs that this entity needs to have some forensic auditing done - what I'm dealing with may not be any actual fraud, but it is certainly gross incompetence. The clear lack of any accounting controls makes it ripe for that.

And I'm not a CPA or auditor here, so I'm not exactly fast at digging through things. Although I do know now exactly what they ****ed up and what needs to be fixed. I'm awaiting their bigwigs to do their own analysis and see if they can figure it out on their own.
