This is what we are dealing with. Alternate reality and facts, literally a cult now.

This . . . it's the world's largest cult and that's all it is now. Our political debates are between half the country who have become a cult and the other half who for the most part could only agree that they don't want a cult leader running the government.

Thank goodness all of that isn’t real. When does this bad movie get over??

Survey-takers who self-reported as liberal were also more likely to believe in chemtrails. More than 22% of those polled who believe in chemtrails — the theory that the clouds of condensation behind airplanes contain chemical agents meant to control the public — identified as liberal to some degree, while only 17% of people who identified as conservative were chemtrail truthers. (I picture Chis thinking, "Wait, that's not actually true!?")

Fortunately, though, the left and right aren't fooled by the flat earth nonsense:

Least polarizing of all conspiracy theories, INSIDER found, was the flat earth theory, which posits, contrary to fact, that the earth is a plane rather than a sphere. Fewer than 3% of both Republicans and Democrats found the idea to be credible.
