YTTV down?

The guide works, but when you select something the screen is black… no audio. My folks 30 minutes away have same issue. Anyone else experiencing this? I turned device off and rebooted and still happening.

Sounds like too much porn. But seriously, I had playback issues maybe a half hour ago, but they resolved. I would just unplug everything and reboot.

Had the same issue just hit the home button and after reloading no problems.

Mine glitches sometimes but I just reboot the firestick and that always fixes it

The thing to remember with internet based providers is that each device used has to have it's own version of YTTV. The behind the scenes software for say a Firestick may be slightly different versus a Roku.

Some times, new releases can be a bit bug filled. Every now and then the YTTV installed on my Vizio can be a bit sketchy and I'll need to shut down and unplug the Vizio for a minute, but if that doesn't work I'll then fire up my Roku and that works perfectly fine.

It happens...thankfully rarely.

Sounds like a Firestick problem. Our YTTV has been flawless (sans a couple irritating interface deficiencies) in the 2 years we've had it.

It wasn’t working on my Samsung TV from about 10 am to noon.

It was just out from maybe 430pm until about 630pm on both a Chromecast and a roku. Not sure what my folks use... maybe a roku. Just seemed weird that we were both having the same issue at the same time and then it came back on about the same time.
