Outside the unlikely possibility of Iowa making a tourney run to the final, this is the matchup that I've been waiting so see since December when it first looked like these were the two best in the country.
This seems like one of those rare years when there are 2 teams that made space between themselves and the rest and will actually meet in the final to decide it all. Seems even more improbable given that Covid was lurking in the background all the while ready to derail the whole thing.

Baylor winning this game shouldn't shock anybody.

Why exactly? Baylor has basically been the number two team ALL year, and the Zags almost lost their shot at even playing in this game to UCLA. Don't see how this would qualify for a huge upset. Now if Loyola had gotten to this game okay then....
Not and not even close. I'll take the Hoosier of May, Buckner and Benson. Undefeated against a full season slate of better teams then Gonzaga played over the course of the season....
