Completely outclassed athletically. I don’t see it for the zags. Getting out rebounded mercilessly and can’t get into offense. Hot Baylor start has Zags on skates.
Probably not a good move against the best 3pt shooting team in the country.Baylor will score vs that zone
Zaga just getting their teeth kicked in.
Gonzaga is getting beat because of Baylor's guards defense.Suggs, Ayayi and Nemhard are good athletes. The Gonzaga inside tandem Kispert and Timme are not used to being guarded or having to rebound vs top end defensive bigs. Kispert might play himself out the 1st round. Timme is little bit like Garza...skilled on offense, can't play good enough defense to make NBA.
Scored on 4-5 poss after butler back inProbably not a good move against the best 3pt shooting team in the country.
Driving the ball will get you to the line.Gonzaga couldn't hit anything but the free throws kept them in it.

There was that block at the rim that the refs gave weak call to zagsBaylor will end up in deep foul trouble thus Gonzaga will be in the game til the end.
Without that terrible call by Boroski this is probably a 5 point or so game.
Take Suggs off the court and Gonzaga doesn't have the athletes to handle Baylors ball pressure.
When he's in they can do what they do.
The turnovers are way out of character for what they normally do.Gonzaga hit 54% from the floor for the half. Giving up 9 off rebounds is what killed them, along with 8 to.
When they're against your best player definitely.Which is why I hate when people say a call in the last minute cost a team a game. Calls in the 1st few minutes can be just as big.

Thamba and Tchamwa with 5 fouls between them and Timme with 1 is a head scratcher.
I think Baylor has a strong bench? The 2nd half will most likely come down to how long Baylor can keep their starters in the game due to foul trouble, and if anyone can pick up the slack if that does happen.
Just to sabotage this thread with false hope:
Bigger IMO. An example the 2nd phantom called against Garza at Indiana forcing him to sit completely flipped that game. Granted some of that is Frans schemeWhich is why I hate when people say a call in the last minute cost a team a game. Calls in the 1st few minutes can be just as big.
He's staying?? 😁Just to sabotage this thread with false hope:
Disagree, Timme is as aggressive on both endsWell, the former have been aggressive and physical on defense, Timme hasn't.
Where at? DK is only +160Zaga +290 is very appetizing.
