The rhetoric and behavior from the administration is a symptom of a larger problem that is their authoritarian nature. The excuse that the government isn't actually censoring citizens if they have the platforms do it on their behalf goes out the window if the government is forcing said platforms to censor speech under duress and threat of litigation.
