These Top 50 rankings come from TheRinger.com's Kevin O'Connor's Big Board, featuring the 2020 NBA draft prospects he considers the real deal.

These rankings are O'Connor's personal top 50, and incorporate factors such as physical traits, college production, and skills that seem translatable to the next level. The Big Board will be updated to reflect all the twists and turns of the draft process.

Obi Toppin comes in at #9, btw.

What he says about Luka:

Age: 21.4
Wingspan: N/A
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 260
Per Game: 23.9 pts / 9.8 reb / 1.8 blocks / 35.8 three pt %

Skilled offensive big man who plays with contagious effort, but his athleticism must improve for him to survive defensively.

SHADES OF: Brook Lopez, Nikola Vucevic, Mike Muscala

PLUSES
  • Great finisher around the rim with slick footwork in the post. At Iowa, he often plowed through double-teams and even triple-teams to score.
  • Reliable 3-point shooter who can score off screens, which should translate well to NBA pick-and-pops. In his three seasons at Iowa, he hit 34 percent of his 3s, 45 percent of his 2-point jumpers, and 70 percent of his free throws.
  • Good decision-maker who makes timely passes and limits turnovers.
  • Headsy rebounder who makes a beeline for the ball and displays elite coordination going back up for putbacks. On defense, he consistently finds a man to box out.
  • Improved defensively as a junior after improving his conditioning, which activated his skills at reading the floor and taking proper angles on rotations.
  • If he were a boxer, he’d be known for his iron chin. He was battered by opponents in college and never relented, often willing his team to win.
MINUSES
  • Matador on defense, despite his effort level. He’s stiff when changing directions and regularly gets punished by quicker players.
  • Needs to continue extending his range to be as threatening of a floor spacer as possible.
  • He’ll be exposed defensively against teams that run a heavy dose of pick-and-rolls, which includes most opponents.
