The messaging and execution of promoting EVs has been so flawed it would be comical, if not so sad. Electric vehicles climbed to 8.1% market share and had the largest quarter in the EV industry should be applauded, but because of messaging failures, a historical year is considered a failure.

The hybrids and how they have evolved should have been pushed and let infrastructure be developed as the consumer base eased into a drastic change. Because that was not the choice, the EV, like so many things, has become a divisive political topic versus whether an EV is a good choice for your next purchase.
