Indeed. I still can't get over the fact that Smith was seeded as such to meet Bull first round. I'm not about conspiracy theories, but that was total horse sh*t.

Hmm... I wonder if Parris feels the same way about Stoll being underseeded to be matched against him unfairly too. Only at least Alex and Stoll both won their matches.

Absolutely HORRIBLE job by the official. Parris should've been stalled out.

I haven't watched every single match of Stoll's, but as far as I am concerned, that was his best match I have ever seen him wrestle.

He absolutely was the aggressor and he wanted that one bad! He took it right to that kid!

9-0 first round? What were the odds of that being pulled off?

I’m not so happy being undefeated in the first round it’s how they wrestled. They pressed the issue and looked confident, like Iowa wrestling. Gotta keep it up next round and set a tone

Warner has seemed to have conditioning under control late in season - weird that he gassed

He didn't gas IMO. He lost a scramble. He looked great to that point, and was the aggressor the whole way. Keep doing what he just did for most of that match and things will work out fine for him.

Great first round by Hawks. Great match by Stoll against very tough opponent. Love that refs are aggressively calling stalling, but Holy Mary Mother of God, that was just silly. So thankful it didn't impact the outcome of the match.
