Exchanged some messages with Kentrell over the weekend, nothing that would warrant an article as of yet, so here are some quick notes.

  1. Rinehart goes to school, works a lot by the sounds of it, and is a four-star running back, so he's clearly got a lot on his plate. He probably won't have time to take an unofficial visit to Iowa, though he plans to take an official. Considering it's early in his recruitment and he hasn't taken a visit, it's tough to gauge his level of interest. But the fact that he plans to take an official is good for Iowa.
  2. Added that though he doesn't know much about Iowa yet, he sees that they're a 'run-heavy team' and he likes that.
  3. Favorite schools right now are Miami (FL), North Carolina State and Minnesota
  4. Most important thing to him in his recruitment is how close he is with the staff, including the head coach. Should he schedule an official visit to Iowa, sounds like KF could be a big part of making a solid impression.
So, nothing major, but some preliminary info that's good to have.

Patient runner with good vision that's tough to tackle. Runs hard. Though his break-away speed isn't elite, it's good, and his patience gets him into the open field quite a bit, just by virtue of waiting for the right moment. Looks like a guy who's willing to do anything -- blocked a punt about two minutes into his film.
