It was a huge weekend in Hawkeye sports, full of dramatic wins, #1 upsets, and conference titles. Iowa Track and Field competed in the Big Ten Conference Championship over the weekend and Myreanna Bebe was the star, winning a conference title and setting a school record in the 60m hurdles, finishing in 8.07 seconds. The Hawks also set a school record in the Women's Medley Relay when the team of Alli Bookin-Nosbisch, Tesa Roberts, Grace Bookin-Nosbisch, and Amber Aesoph finished in 11:15.07. Both the Men's and Women's teams finished in 3rd place in the conference after strong showings in numerous events. They'll look to build on that momentum at the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 8th before pivoting to the outdoor season.

Elsewhere, Hawkeye Baseball upset #1 LSU, Iowa Gymnastics set a season-high at the B1G Five meet, Hawkeye Softball earned two more wins (and just missed an upset over #1 UCLA of their own), and the Women's Golf and Tennis teams were also in action. Keaton Anthony was a standout on the diamond, earning Big Ten Player of the Week honors for his huge performance at the plate, but the entire Hawkeye Baseball team looks as good as advertised in the early going. The pitchers are holding some of the top offenses in the country in check and the bats have been absolutely on fire. They are now ranked #24 nationally.

JerQuavia Henderson and Karina Munoz led the way for the Gymnastics squad. Henderson tied for the event title on floor and Munoz finished 2nd in the all-around. They'll take on Iowa State next week.
