What is the all time greatest recruiting class in Iowa wrestling history? I assume it probably happened in the 80's when there were more scholarships to work with. Thanks for your opinions.

I do think it would be hard to look back and rank them without being influenced by how they did in college.

I'm going with class of '93, which produced 8 individual titles:
'93: M Ironside (3x ch), Joe Williams (3x ch), McGinness (2x ch)

Followed by class of '87, which produced 6:
'87: Tom Brands (3x ch), Terry Brands (2x ch), Reiland (1x ch), Chelesvig (3x AA), Fiser (2x AA) (Ryan 2x AA was a transfer)

Honorable mention:
'96: 5 titles: Juergens (2x ch), TJ Williams (2x ch), Schwab (1x ch)
'92: 4 titles: McIlravy (3x ch), Mena (4x AA), Whitmer (1x ch), Gilliss (1x AA)

May not be 100% accurate, but that's a place to start.
