We have an interesting batch of "room guys." They are very active on the freestyle/greco circuit. Pretty cool to see. Wish more of our "studs" were like that.

Usually I would agree with you but not in this case. A month ago the plan was 66kg. This is from someone who would know.

I don't believe they were ever at the same weight. I'm sure they saw each other in the young guns room plenty

Nolf's senior year he wrestled 145. That was Kemerer' Junior year and he wrestled 138. Through high school there was always at least one weight class between them.

They have wrestled each other countless times in the Young Guns room but never in High School

Kemmerer's main rival in HS was Vincenzo Joseph. I think they wrestled 6-7 times plus both trained at Young Guns together. I don't think they'll ever meet again since Joseph has packed on the lbs. Nolf started out as a little guy and then got big. I remember him hammering Joey McKenna at who's number 1 at 126 or 132.

74 kg/163 lbs. is an absolutely brutal weight, included are Joey Gunther (Iowa), Larry Early (Minnesota), Logan Massa (Michigan) “ouch”, Mark Hall (listed as Michigan), Anthony Valencia (Arizona) “ouch, ouch”, Jeremiah Moody and Skyler St. John (both Iowa). I’ve always liked Gunther, but if I had to “pick-um”, its #1 Valencia, and #2 Massa. How do the well informed/knowledgeable posters see this weight?

Have to put Hall as the favorite with wins over Valencia and Massa. Any of the three are capable of winning it. Cenzo a wildcard of sorts. Excited to see him and LE3 competing at a higher weight against top competition.

Hall, Valencia Massa in that order if I were a betting man. With so many land mines to navigate I wouldn't be surprised if any or all 3 of them fall out of that predicted order.
LE3 as I'm sure some others could wrestle 70kg but it's not a world weight.

I'll be more concerned with coaching and trying to get OPRF club kids qualified for Fargo this weekend at Illinois' freestyle state tourney.
