Coordinators met with Media Today. Marco getting more reps than Deacon. Offense 85% installed

He is getting the most reps, but it is with the second and third team as Hill is taking the first team snaps. But Lester did say that Marco needs more reps which he thought this was a good way at getting him that.

New Story Kadyn Proctor expected to transfer back to Alabama

Whether it be Proctor's mom or Kadyn himself, he has loyalty and character issues. It certainly would have been nice to have had him, but I don't think the Iowa program needs a cancer like that hanging around. If he wants to go, don't let the door hit his big ass on the way out. That aside, I am...

    Why Saban retired

Me, Me, Me, that what college football players are about now days as "TEAM" takes a backseat to a kids personal and financial goals. I guess this is supposed to be a good thing for the players, but it sucks for the coaching staffs and sucks for the fans. Yes, I am getting old, but I really miss...

    Iowa portal QB

Marco's wheels were very impressive and would fit well with the Lester system. Marco just needs snaps to work on his passing and if he gets a ton of them in spring ball, he could turn out to be a decent QB.

Does Kirk Have An Issue With Black Coaches?

When I see Iowalaw post one of his baseless rants as I see them, I suddenly feel happy that I blessed with ADHD, because I cannot stay focused long enough to read the majority of the pointless drival. . ;)

Does Kirk Have An Issue With Black Crowes?

Kirk seems more of a Slim Whitman man.

    Keokuk Chiefs Football....

Kirk can't have a coach coaching a position that that coach actually played, that would be non sense. ;) Hmm, Except for Betts......Head scratching

    Iowa offense IS famous.

Ahh yes, but the key word there is "Complementary" and Iowa's offense is the only part of the team that is not complementing anything. LOL

Lester, the former QB and OC, should know how the influence and beat defenses

It will actually be nice to have a former QB as the QB coach teaching the kids instead of a former Center. However, in Brian's defense, in his playing days, he did touch the ball as much as the QB's, so I guess that qualified him to teach them how to throw it. LOL

    Tennessee possibly in big trouble.

I thought Tennessee got in touch with Harbaugh who gave them his sign stealing notes on Iowa's offense. All 6 plays. LOL

    Tim Lester, my thoughts, FWIW

This 2021 Tim Lester quote probably sealed the deal for Kirk. He is speaking in Kirk's favorite term...."Complementary football" I got this from Chad Leistikow “That was one of the things we didn’t do last year; we did not play complementary. We scored so fast, we left our defense out there for...

Any chance Lester brings anything new?

If you want to see Lester describing his offense, this is a good example. Hopefully the link takes you where it is supposed to. LOL Sorry if someone has already posted this, I did not see it so I posted it.

Any chance Lester brings anything new?

I'm not excited nor am I disappointed as this is the kind of hire I expected from Kirk. I am willing to wait and see if Lester can resurrect this dead offense, but to be honest, I am not overly optimistic. I have doubts that Kirk would let anyone come in and run the offense that was not a "Yes"...
