    I agree with this. We are basing this on year old data. IMO, Zane (or anybody else) who doesn't medal at Worlds should no longer be the "guy" in an Olympic year. It seems to happen every 4 years for our 65KG spot. Metcalf in 2016, Retherford in 2021, and Lee in 2024.

    BTW...Gilman's interview, as noted above, calmed some choppy waters. Having a wife/family/some time off can really help a guy's perspective. He looked good this weekend but I don't know if he keeps on going.

For those tank issues, they have addressed by getting Lee to pace himself instead of being in a hurry to end matches early...because if he tries and it doesn't work, that's where the energy...
