Somebody in the maintenance department is getting their a$$ reamed today.
When you think about the piece falling off the ceiling a couple years ago…..the place doesn’t feel safe.
Yikes...that's not good. Is there video of it? I checked youtube...nothing as of this morning.
Hard hats now mandatory at Assembly hall
Maintenance is tasked solely with keeping those ancient banners looking fresh. They don't know how to do anything else.

Indiana’s Assembly Hall is a dump. Build a new arena already or play all your games elsewhere.
This is not the first time that Assembly Hall has had pieces falling from the ceiling. It was not to many years ago, when I believe they delayed or changed schedules until it was "safe".
Prep for our game at Indiana will be to avoid center court. Run the sidelines, incase the damn jumbotron comes down. WTF
What a dump. Maybe they should consider renovating the place so that it's safe, before someone actually gets hit by one of these beams. Place is literally falling apart.
Somewhere, DanL is still blaming Iowa’s current woes on the piece of Assembly Hall that fell before our game over there a few years back.
