7 wins or more each season since the 4-8 2012 season, not counting the 6-2 season in 2020. The worst season was 7-6 in 2014.
That’s a bit harsh, but it does illustrate the frustrations that such a large portion of the fan base has been experiencing….That’s nice floor for your program
It’s too bad our ceiling continues to lower.
Helps playing in the big 10 West and having at least two really bad OOC opponents. Seems like ISU is a win most years with the occasional blip like this year. That’s a bit harsh, but it does illustrate the frustrations that such a large portion of the fan base has been experiencing….
The big west argument is such bullshit. Why didn’t those other teams do it? Big west had some of the best defenses in the country. Once again you play who is in front of you and teams from around the country haven’t come close to the consistency of the hawks.Helps playing in the big 10 West and having at least two really bad OOC opponents. So you get 2-3 wins before conference play.
It’s really frustrating cause we wasted so many opportunities with no offense.
Sure enough this year the offense (run game) explodes and our defense struggles. Which is to be expected. We can’t keep plugging in developmental players on DL and CB and expect the same magic
