*** #12 Iowa vs #14 Indiana WBB BIG TEN TITLE GAME ***

Indiana has basically played 6 players in the tournament, and one of those players was sick yesterday and played just 14 minutes. They really should be running on fumes at this point. If we turn this into our typical track meet, it should be advantage Iowa even more than normal.

Gonna feel more like a road game with all the Indiana fans there
Great. After all, Iowa just beat Indiana TWICE about a week ago . . . winning in Bloomington as well as in Iowa City. Going for the three-game sweep today in Indy. The fans won't bother the Hawkeyes. They've already proven that.

IU is playing their 4th game in 4 days.

Iowa will run them out of the gym and add a B1G Tournament Championship to their Regular Season B1G Championship.

Let's get the Hoosiers in foul trouble and run them
I think their backup post is injured (which is why they've basically played with 6 players). Czinano fouled out both the starter and the backup in Indiana and Iowa's last game. If we get them in foul trouble at all they'll be in trouble too.

Correct -- Browne aggravated a hip injury in Indiana's final regular season game which is why she has played just 1 minute in 3 days in the BTT so far. That's also why their third string center Arielle Wisne is seeing meaningful minutes for the first time in her career. Indiana's PF Aleksa Gulbe was also sick yesterday with a "non-COVID related illness." She didn't even enter the arena until midway through the 2Q, but played quite a few minutes in the 2nd half.

IU's starters played HEAVY minutes yesterday.

Here was Indiana's 8 person rotation yesterday:

The 5 starters:
28 min: 6'3" F Mackenzie Holmes
38 min: 5'11" G Chloe Moore-McNeil
39 min: 6'0" G Grace Berger
37 min: 5'6" G Nicole Cardano-Hillary
38 min: 5'11" G Ali Patberg

3 off the Bench:
14 min: 6'3" F Aleksa Gulbe
05 min: 6'5" C Arielle Wisne
01 min: 6'0" G Grace Waggoner

.........................................................................
200 Minutes Total

Indiana also on a mission, Holmes getting back in groove, we still need to be hitting on all cylinders…

Never easy playing an opponent three times, especially within such a short period of time. I have a lot of respect for IN and their coach. We have to be better on screens and with our ball handling today. Cardono Hillary really frustrated Clark in the last matchup.

Agreed. They are playing for the Big Ten tournament championship in their own backyard. Really hoping Clark has it under control today as Nicole Cardano-Hillary does a great job of frustrating Clark as has been said. I find it funny at one point during this season Clark got asked who she feels is the best defender on her and she said Burton and NCH and now has had to play both of them in the tourney.

Indiana has looked like a well oiled machine in their wins over Maryland and OSU.

Yes, they are playing very well right now. A lot better than they were against us. A healthier Mackenzie Holmes has helped with that too.

From what I've seen it looks like Gulbe is back to being healthy
