hearing and seeing on twitter that Nate Jackson is moving up to 184 now...wowza this weight is loaded and a lot of good wrestlers are not going to make the podium, should be interesting come Nationals time.

Meyer v Jackson is entertaining. Brooks v Jackson is dynamite in a box! Jackson was certainly a leaned out 174. A Jackson with 10 more pounds of muscle is pretty scary
Yes, I believe he certified at 184 also, so he CAN'T move back down.
In the back of my mind, I really think that Cael is going to surprise people and pull Hall's redshirt at or after the Scuffle. With the closeness of the race this year, the Nickal certifiying at 184, I think that's their plan, and their not letting anyone know until it happens.
Edit: I'm trying to confirm the certification weight...I'll update when I know for sure, unless someone else can confirm.
Correct, Nickal will not be at 174. As for Hall's redshirt, I would actually be surprised if it's pulled. (No inside info. I just think they are confident with the rest of the lineup being enough for another title run. But I wouldn't be disappointed to see Hall wrestle this year...)
The battle for 184 is for second place. Downey's dad said so.

That was likely his PO! I think after the incident last year where the 157 ISU wrestler took a swing after a match, the program recruited some behavioral management personnel.
He's got 2 sisters, I saw them both with him. She was also with a big, tatted up guy...so I didn't try and get her number
