Some fans on this board may not know that Hawkeye men played for the national title in 1956. They lost to San Francisco who had some guy named Bill Russell. But here’s the kicker: Iowa played Moorhead State in the Midwest regional. The two teams set a record with a combined 105 free throw attempts. That is insane.
