Had a week from hell, but still wanted to give my Hawks' predictions:
  • 125: Lee - 1st (OW)
  • 133: Teske - 5th
  • 141: Woods - 1st (bonus to the finals)
  • 149: Murin - 7th, but could win it all. We'll see which Murin shows up this weekend
  • 157: Cobe - 5th
  • 165: Kennedy - 1st (he's going to be battle tested and top 4 at NCAAs)
  • 174: Brands - 4th (going to be a hard out at NCAAs)
  • 184: Assad - 3rd
  • 197: JWAR - 7th (hoping for the best; he knows how to show up in March)
  • 285: Cass - 4th (think Kerk wins and Davison finishes 2nd or 3rd...Davison looked good against Cass this year)

Guilty as charged😏

You’re forced to pick a seeded underdog at some point. So, why not pick a Hawk😊. Plus he’s got the talent. The only thing seemingly holding him back is wrestling too conservative, especially early in matches. Possibly attributed to his “lungs“ and/or confidence/mental game. Maybe, all the above.

I too have my doubts but he’s done it before. So, setting aside lackluster results for “March hope”😳. It’s also his final year & March is here...

Jacob’s driven us nuts over the years but still been pulling for him. So, why not pick him?

Warnerov or bust, baby…
